March for Account Abstraction Hackathon: Gelato Bounties

Welcome to the March for Account Abstraction hackathon! This is an exciting opportunity to showcase your skills while exploring the benefits of Account Abstraction.

This hackathon brings builders together to create new applications and improvements across the ecosystem, with a strong focus on promoting Account Abstraction.

Hackathon hosts: Gelato, Safe, Superfluid, Cowswap, Gnosis Chain, Stripe, Web3Auth, Coinbase

Timeframe: March 1 - March 31st

Gelato Bounties

Integrate Gelato's Gasless Wallet SDK and/or Web3 Functions

Prize Pool:

• 1st Place: $3000

• 2nd Place: $2000

• 3rd Place: $1000

• Runner Ups: Up to 7 x $500

Option #1: Integrate Gelato’s Gasless Wallet SDK

Criteria: Use the Gasless Wallet SDK in your project.

Description: The SDK enables one-click deployment of a Safe smart contract wallet via Web3Auth social logins. Users onboard seamlessly without managing private keys, benefiting from Account Abstraction features.

Ideas:

• NFT Minting: Combine with Gelato Relay and 1Balance for fully gasless minting.

• Integrate a fiat on-ramp like MoonPay or Transak for auto top-ups.

• Gasless Onboarding: Package a higher-level front-end utility for developers (like Tailwind for CSS, or Next.js for React).

• A browser-based wallet-like extension with a simple UI showing assets owned by the deployed Safe wallet.

Option #2: Use Gelato’s Web3 Functions with Gasless Wallet SDK or Safe Module

Criteria: Use Web3 Functions and either the Gasless Wallet SDK or Gelato Safe Module.

Description: Web3 Functions act as decentralized cloud functions connecting smart contracts to off-chain data and computation. The Safe Module enables trustless automation of transactions. Learn more about Safe modules here.

Ideas:

• Create an automated yield harvesting smart contract wallet.

• Build limit orders using Web3 Functions + DEX aggregators like 1inch or ParaSwap.

• Automated range orders on Uniswap with a gasless UX.

Gelato x Safe Bounties

Best Safe Core SDK x Gelato Integration

Prize: $1500 to the winner.

Criteria: Use Safe’s Core SDK and at least one Gelato service: Automate, Relay, Web3 Functions, or Gasless Wallet.

The winning project will be the most novel, creative, and impactful integration.

Judging Criteria

UX:

• Does it significantly improve UX?

• Is it easy for new users?

• Does it feel seamless, smooth, and simple?

Code:

• Is the code clean, documented, and forkable with a proper README?

• Does it run successfully on testnet deployments?

Product Market Fit:

• Does it address a current gap in the market?

• Is the solution unique and creative?

• Does it solve a pain point from your own experience?

Note: Great projects often come from solving one’s own frustrations.
