Base mainnet is here and at Gelato, we can't help but join in the celebration of Onchain Summer! This week Gelato Relay and Web3 Functions deployed on Base mainnet, empowering developers to build feature-rich applications that are automated, gasless & off-chain aware.

Gelato Relay and Web3 Functions are now live on Base Mainnet! Developers can build off-chain aware, gasless apps where users pay fees in any token—or have gas paid on their behalf—while looping off-chain data back on-chain.

Previously tested on Base Goerli, Gelato’s suite of services now brings its power to mainnet:

• Gelato Automate: Automates smart contracts with time-based and custom triggers via resolvers and UI-based scheduling.

• Web3 Functions: Decentralized equivalents of AWS Lambda or Google Cloud, enabling on-chain transactions triggered by off-chain data.

• Gelato Relay: Ensures secure, gasless transaction execution by relaying users' transactions on-chain.
