How do you bring millions of users onchain without seed phrases, confusing sign-ups, or gas fees?
The answer lies in combining Gelato’s gasless infrastructure with Para’s embedded wallet technology. Gelato’s Paymaster & Bundler layer works seamlessly with Para’s wallets to deliver Web2-simple experiences on secure, scalable Web3 infrastructure.
Two live ecosystems, Vana and Camp Network, show how this works in production.
A suite of Vana apps integrates Gelato’s Paymaster & Bundler and Para’s Universal Embedded Wallets to unlock portable identity and data ownership across apps.
Camp built its L1 using the Abundance (ABC) chain framework from Gelato. The framework delivers native EIP-7702 Account Abstraction, gasless infra, and programmable automation at the protocol layer. Para integrates at the wallet layer, giving every Camp user a single ecosystem wallet that works everywhere.
The results speak for themselves.
Over 5 million users have been onboarded across Vana’s data ecosystem, while Camp’s early rollout demonstrated over 90 million transactions, 1.5 million IP assets, and 5 million unique wallets.

Underneath both ecosystems lies the same architectural principle: invisible infrastructure and embedded wallets working together for seamless UX.
The Stack: Gelato’s Gasless Infrastructure Meets Para’s Wallet Experience
Traditional crypto wallets require users to manage private keys and pay gas for every action. These frictions limit adoption and prevent the seamless onboarding mainstream users expect.
EIP-7702 Account Abstraction (AA) introduces smart accounts that can handle gas and signatures programmatically. Gelato’s Paymaster & Bundler infrastructure executes and sponsors transactions behind the scenes, allowing users to sign up, mint, or transact without needing native gas tokens. The result is a gasless UX that feels effortless and intuitive for end users.
Para provides the user-facing wallet layer. Through its Universal Embedded Wallet SDK, every user receives a non-custodial smart account that can be accessed with email, Google, or phone login. These wallets connect directly to Gelato’s Paymaster & Bundler infrastructure for seamless, gasless transactions.
Together, Para and Gelato create an invisible bridge between Web2 familiarity and Web3 capability. Users get pre-generated, gas-ready wallets with social login. Developers gain scalable infrastructure without managing keys, gas, or custom integrations.
Camp Network: Building an Ecosystem with Embedded Wallets
Camp Network was designed as the Autonomous IP Layer, where creators own and license their work onchain. To support millions of interactions at scale, Camp leverages Gelato’s Paymaster & Bundler infrastructure and EIP-7702 Account Abstraction to make gasless UX and programmable execution native features from day one.
Para’s role: The Camp Ecosystem Wallet gives every user a single Para wallet that works seamlessly across Camp applications. Sign in once, and your wallet, along with your IP assets, onchain history, and reputation, follows you everywhere.
Gelato’s role: Gelato’s Paymaster & Bundler, coupled with the Gelato Turbo sequencer, powers every transaction behind the scenes, handling gas and execution automatically. This ensures Camp’s high-volume network runs reliably and scales without friction as users mint, license, and trade IP onchain.
Testnet results
1.5M+ IP assets created
5M+ wallets generated
90M+ transactions executed
As users minted and traded IP, Gelato powered the underlying gasless infrastructure and sequencing, while Para delivered a user experience indistinguishable from traditional apps.
Vana: Data Ownership Through Gasless UX and Embedded Wallets
Vana enables users to reclaim and monetize their data for AI training and decentralized applications. Its challenge was onboarding millions of users into a multi-app ecosystem without requiring private key management or gas payments.
Para’s role: Each Vana user receives a Universal Embedded Wallet, created instantly with email or Google login. This wallet carries identity and assets across all Vana apps.
Gelato’s role: Vana applications use Gelato’s Paymaster & Bundler to sponsor transactions and relay them onchain. Users can contribute data, claim rewards, or participate in DataDAOs immediately after sign-up.
Impact
5M+ users onboarded through Para-powered wallets
77K+ users active across multiple Vana apps, demonstrating that cross-app identity drives retention
Para removed onboarding friction. Gelato handled gas and execution in the background. Together, they proved that mainstream-ready onchain UX is possible today.
Why It Matters
Vana and Camp illustrate a new design pattern for Web3 adoption.
At the app layer: Gelato’s gasless infrastructure (Paymaster & Bundler) and Para’s embedded wallets deliver instant onboarding and portable identity.
At the ecosystem layer: Gelato and Para enable entire chains to launch with Web2-level UX from day one, eliminating gas barriers, reducing user friction, and creating seamless onboarding for millions.
In both cases, Gelato operates invisibly as the execution backbone, while Para provides the user experience that makes it tangible. The result is a unified model for bringing millions of users onchain without friction.
Applications and rollups built with Gelato’s infrastructure and Para’s Universal Embedded Wallets allow users to sign up with familiar credentials, transact without gas, and move seamlessly across applications. This reduces acquisition costs, increases conversion, and strengthens long-term retention for developers and ecosystem teams.
